In order to view the Bible texts used on this project on your
computer you will have to follow several steps:
1. Get an application to view the Bible texts
You have to install a software application to view Bible texts.
I recommend UnboundBible application available at the following Internet
addresses:
a) UnboundBible.zip
b) UnboundBibleAll.zip
(This archive containts almost all the modules! Just download, unzip, run tools.exe from UnboundBibleAll directory and that's all!)
c) Unbound Bible Homepage.
In the first case, you shall have to download the zip file and unzip it on your
computer. In the second case, you have to make the installation according to the
indications from that site.
2. Get the desired Bible texts
Above are the databases to be used on your computer. You will have to download
the desired file, unzip and then use the database, for instance en1Bible.txt.
3. Install the desired Bible texts in the application
Move the database(s) in the folder named "Bibles" within the folder where the
software was set-up. Then launch the application (i.e. Tools.exe under the
UnboundBible folder from your desktop).
BibleViewer using HTA technology
In order to see clearly the different fonts, for instance Asian ones, I
recommend an application developed in HTA (HTML Application) technology, that
can be downloaded from
BiblePhone.zip It
contains a bundle of several Bible modules (Chinese, English and Romanian), but
you can add as many you like. As a demonstration, I put also a bundle of more
Bible modules at
BiblePhoneBundle.zip ,
including diacritics very hard to display otherwise (e.g. Georgian).A picture of
this application is below:
